Oregano essential oil (Origanum vulgare) is a popular oil right now. There are countless Oregano oil health benefits being discovered every day, with uses ranging from to cooking to hospital wards. Scientists at the Greek University of Thessaloniki also found similar results. They found oregano oil was helpful in stopping pathongenic bacteria even when it was diluted to 1/50000.

Another study by Dr. Ann Draughon showed that oregano oil was able to kill many different types of bacteria such as E-coli, Pseudomonas aeruglinosa and Listeria monocytogenes. To use oregano oil, 3 drops can be added to a glass of water and taken every day. Oregano essential oil is very potent so be careful not to use too much.
