How to use castor oil for hair
Hair loss, in medical terms called alopecia, is a condition that affects both men and women. Several factors can cause hair loss, including hormones, genes, stress, illness, childbirth, drugs, autoimmune diseases, cosmetic procedures, thyroid disease, diabetes, eating disorders, anemia, and others.
Alopecia may be treated medically with drugs, hair replacement, and hair restoration. However, natural remedies are always the best because you do not take or apply on your skin any chemical substances.
Castor Oil Hair Benefits
Castor oil is one of the most effective treatments for hair and skin issues.
It acts as a powerful antifungal and antibacterial agent and abounds with vitamin E, minerals, and proteins.
It stimulates hair growth and strengthens the hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows due to its high levels of omega-9 fatty acids, which nourish the follicles. And, in order to stimulate hair growth, you should only rub few drops in the scalp.
Furthermore, castor oil is very beneficial in the regenerating process, because of its high amounts of triglycerides of unsaturated fats. Similarly, the ricinoleic acid found in this oil is effective in preventing and eliminating dandruff, fungal and microbial infections of the scalp, due to its fungicidal, germicidal and insecticidal properties.
